Hehe... I can't remember the last time I've been dreading (as opposed to looking forward to) a game quite so much.
That said, I think we'll win it if Broadhurst picks the right team.
And the right team is...
Oakes
Pead Mills Roper Fox
James Osborn Keates Smith
Timm
Claridge

Bristol your brave! Im not looking forward to this match at all. But we really really need this win if we still want a chance of staying in league one!
Walsall 1
Bournmouth 0
This game is going to be really tight. Dont give a s!ht who scores as long as we get them 3 points.
My team would be:
Oakes
Pead Mills Gerard Fox
James Osborn Keates Smith
Timms Claridge

At least Smith is back. When he has played in the middle of the park, he has been the only bright spot since Fryatt left.
I'd drop Wright, Constable, Keates, Gerrard, Leary and Devlin. And Danny Fox would only play because some idiot released all other left footed defenders in the football club.
My team would be
Oakes
Pead Mills Roper Fox
James Osborn Smith
Timm Demontagnac
Claridge
A Walsall team with pace, creativity, and (on paper) the ability to defeat any side...let alone Bournemouth.

its not going to rain on tuesday evening! :lol:Dave Gittins wrote:I really am not looking forward to going on Tuesday. I am envisaging, at best, a turgid 0- 0 draw in front of little over 3,500 fans. I will then walk out of the ground cold and wet in the pouring rain to squelch back to the car - won't that be fun!

It managed to persist it down on my 15 minute walk to the fullbrook after the game saturday, topped the day off nicely

It occurred to me yesterday that maybe we could have saved on the new scoreboard by simply painting "Saddlers 0" on there, and halving the size of the electronic matrix.
Just a thought !
