Bradford City (H) 25/3/06 league

Wed Mar 22, 2006 4:14 pm

Lets put the disapointment of the Yeovil game behind us and look towards saturdays game with Bradford.

I think we can beat these. I say Walsall 1-0 Bradford City and Barrowman will get the winner.

I think we'll win. They need to to get last night out of their systems.

1-0. Keates.

Well, this is where we really find out what KB is made of.

I wouldn't like to predict a score. It all depends on the state of the wasters (sorry players) minds. Will they give a flying fudge ? Or will their (lately departed) professional pride kick in ?

It was very much in place in the last few away games. They made me proud anyway.

Where it went last night I don't know. Perhaps they had Sky Sports News in the dressing room before the game and Merson in his pink shirt came back to haunt them all.

I'll go for a 2-1 win on Saturday. We will be 2-0 up and concede an 85th minute goal which will lead to a final desparate 5 minutes plus 3 minutes stoppage time (sponsored by WBBS)

I'll go for a 1-0 defeat unless we manage to bring in some players to fill our weak gaps. We will again miss Osborn & Mills and will again create very little. One thing is for sure, Barrowman shouldn't play - we play him to add physical presence & compliment Devlin but he does neither.

Nobody wants him to, it's just that he's the most obvious candidate!

WALSALL 1-2 BRADFORD

Interesting to see on bet365 via the OS that Jorge Leitao is priced to get the first goal on Saturday

Mads Timm 11/2
Dean Windass 11/2
Jorge Leitao 6/1
Kevin James 13/2
Paul Devlin 13/2
Scott P Fitzgerald 13/2
Ishmel Demontagnac 7/1

Come back time, 2-1 saddlers.

Roper will break the new scoreboard Bonser will fine him 20 quid and ban him for three games (the maximum for this offence)

Mads Timm Favourite :?
What planet are they on :?
Windass clear favourite!

Hope KB keeps faith with Roper despite his shocker on tuesday to contain windass.

I think Westwood deserves a start, if all fit play 3 at the back

Oakes
Gerrard, Roper, Westwood
Wright & Fox Wing backs
Smith, Keates (if fit), James (can't play that bad again)
Devlin and Fitzgerald (Constable if he's fit, to come off the bench)

Barrowman confidence is shot, Ishy needs time out of firing line

Couldn't think of many options in the middle
Osborn and Mills would obviously play if not suspended
Kinsella all the players hate him
Leary (Full of running=Headless Chicken)
Standing may be worth a shout, but not convinced
Pead not enough forward thinking

Got to be better than Tuesday  Got to be

Ishy has only had one game IN the 'firing line' of late (well, 89 minutes to be exact! )

I really hope we win saturday after the disapointment of the Yeovil game. Its a big shame that Claridge can't play because he's a great experienced player and we have to play Barrowman.

Indeed. I've got a good mind to pop down the road to the training ground and tell the players just that after ther way they played the other night.

At least he didn't see the Yeovil debacle, and his last match was a good one.

I hoope Ropes enjoys sitting in the Stands, then, as that's the only place he'll be marking Windass. He's still in that 5 game suspension for abusing a match official in the car park after a game.
