Tranmere (a) 17/3/06 - league

Mon Mar 13, 2006 7:18 am

1-0 Walsall.

The goal will come from Fitzgerald.

Tranmere think that they will win easy and only put 2 players on the pitch. 1 is the goalie. Fitzgerald gets the ball and runs into the tranmere half only to be dragged down by a tranmere player. He is then sent off. Walsall then go attacking but it goes out for a goalkick. Goalie takes it quickly and smacks it off Fitz, he falls over and the ball slowly roles into the net. Walsall win 1-0 and come out of the relegation zone

Tranmere are on form at the moment and we'll have to take our chances better than we did against Swansea but I think we can grind out another draw.

2-2 this time. James and Fitz.

A point here takes us onto 40 points with 7 home games left plus two aways in Blackpool and Gillingham that we should get something from if we maintain the recent improvement in away form. That'll do me, especially with Keates, Roper, and Fox due back into the squad soon.

Despite Sundays performance, I still can't see us winning, I just hope the lads aren't demoralised by Swansea's late equaliser, and they can hold out for another well earned point.

One thing it will be though, is cold!

0-0 for me unless we can get a goalscorer in beforehand, another away point will do us then get back to winning ways at home.

What do you think ?

Just moved to avoid a clash with Everton vs Villa isn't it, so they don't have two lots of Midlands away fans to cope with on the same day.

Bloody 'ell, with the number of yobbos the police have to deal with every day up there in Liverpool, you'd have thought a couple of hundred Saddlers fans in the vicinity would hardly have added much to the workload! Same at Swansea last weekend though, there was never any real need to move that game from Saturday.

You could ask Geordiesaddler, I think he know if the match will be on Sky or not :D
And don't forget to ask him why the club is splashing out money on a new hotel :D :D :D
