I hope he had good reason to drop Roper, we've been rock solid at the back and Merse just cannot help himself but tinker yet again.

I don't see the relevance of this post - but Aranalde has equalised for Carlisle....

If some of these changes aren't forced by injury, especially Roper, it's going to take some explaining. I await Merson's post-match comments about this line-up, with considerable interest.

Is Merson feeling suicidal or something ? Maybe not yet recovered from New Year's Eve hangover ?

Very disappointed if Leitao has done his hamstring as was really looking forward to seeing him at Barnsley

Leitao is going off injured with a hamstring strain, could be his last appearance in a Walsall jersey according to Kearns/Wilford...

Yet another strain/pull we've seen, what sort of pre-match warm up and stretching do we do for crying out loud.

Real shame about Jorge, was looking forward to seeing him at Barnsley. You can understand the occasional injury and pull but surely with us having this many something at the club must be wrong??

2-0 after 31 minutes, Scott Murray again.

Kearns said Bristol City are "dominating" and "Walsall are on the rack now"...

Looks like its a case of 'how many'?

Well if we lose he can only blame himself - what is he playing at, altering the line-up.

How many times do we have to say it.
WHY ALL THE TEAM CHANGES, it just unsettles everyone and upsets the whole balance of the team.
One look at the team sheet was enough for me to know that we would be up against it.

Does Scott Murray have something against us. He always seems to play a blinder whenever we meet.

Does anyone know the reason Roper and the demon aren't even in the squad today? The official site doesn't say they're injured?

Yeah i forgot about Wright.

It comes to something when no-one even mentions the fact that we haven't lost this game yet, there's a second half still..... not that i expect anything from it, other than another Bristol goal or two...

Absolutely useless - we're getting hammered by City if the commentary is anything to go by.

I predicted a heavy defeat if we played anything like the first half against Blackpool on Saturday, and to counter that performance we have put out a weaker side.

As I said in my earlier post, explanations for this team selection will be eagerly awaited. As for the game, it's another away game gone to add to our pathetic away record, I honestly don't see a way back.

Half-time 2-0, looking on the bright side at least we won't concede for at least another 15 minutes ! :?

i would love to know what Meson says at half time, how can he give them a bollocking when he asks people to play out of position.
Probably saying you were different class boys.
Now go get me two goals to keep me in a job.

Mick Kearns just said that Roper didn't train yesterday, so presumably ill or injured.

Mark Wright's knee has swollen up after the Blackpool match, so thats why he is missing. No real surprise, as the lad was rushed straight back into the first team after 2 months out injured and not even a reserve match to ease him back into it.

it looks like indeed, but if we could have won today we could do a brilliant job at the table. Chesterfield-Barnsley 0-0 and also the other scores are good to look up. But now we probably lose, we'll have a few teams getting us (almost).

Problem in my post is just one word: "if"
