Bradford A - December 28th.

Mon Dec 19, 2005 3:12 pm

Yes I know we've got Wycombe and Tranmere yet, but bearing in mind how desperately we need ti improve our away form, could we wish for a better game than this? A team who have lost their last 3 home games, winning only 2 out of the last 9, including home defeats to Rotherham and Hartlepool.

Time for the excuses to stop and the points to roll in surely?

I'll settle for another scrappy 1-0 WIN.

We can't expect just to be able to beat these teams. We've got no divine right to win these games. You people are more like Wolves fans than good honest Walsall fans !

This can go either way... Bradford has only 3 victories at home and Walsall have only 2 victorys away. Walsall has 9 points away from home and Bradford have only 12 points at home.

a 1-1 draw or a 2-1 victory for Bradford.

Cold snowy night, a pitch starting to freeze, your bovril cold after the first sip, a game for the taking
who wants the points most. A game made for Jorge.....pity he is rested so he is fit for his farwell home game

A game we should win, a game Merse will make changes, wouldn't be surprised to see five at the back (although I see no need)

A draw

The alleged football is due to commence at 7.45 PM according to all sources, in -7 degrees according to Metcheck.co.uk, taking into account the wind-chill factor. Probably -12 by the time you take into account the lack of entertainment and atmosphere of 7,000 people in a 30,000 stadium factor.

If the game is on and we lose, I would imagine none of us will be home before midnight having dumped 50 notes - it's £18 to get in. Could seem like -20 by then, happy clapping.

But if HJ includes the cup matches and pretends Tranmere plus on of our impending defeats weren't played, then we'll still hit our 18pts from 10 matches target.

Stop whining, start clapping...

Yes I'll likely be there, but will be setting off as late as possible due to the weather. Should get to said pub about 6.45!!

The Bradford site is currently reporting a thin covering of snow that is expected to melt along with the ice on the approach roads. The pitch is covered and there is a forecast of light snow this afternoon, so all in all sounds like it will probably be on.

I'm going to go for 3-1 to us, purely from the law of averages point of view. It's a long time since Scunny away.

See the bradford site is predicting -6C but not till after midnight. Wouldnt be so bad if there were terraces & you can keep warm more easily. There's been quite a lot of snow in Hull & must admit am undecided about whether to go at the moment.

Hate to be pessimistic but 1-0 loss tonight. Bradford may not be upto much but we do have a habit of ending other clubs bad runs.

Still you never know, we may get a player sent off and hang on for a heroic, backs to the wall Rourkes Drift type point!
