To ask it where it belongs!! What do you think?

I go for a 3-2 win and certainly one of them scored by Matty (no penalty though).

A freezing cold, turgid, tortuous 1-0 to 'Pools. I can't see us creating very much at all.

I intend to be anaesthetised against the effects of a dreary game by copious pre-show festive cold refreshments. :P

SHOCK HORROR, BETTER SIT DOWN BEFORE YOU READ THIS NEXT BIT...........

Merson starts, presumabley up-front. James "I am a centre-forward and have been on fire in training all week" Constable is on the bench, Larossa is not in the 16, why have him at the club?

Kris Taylor on the bench again, despite our shortage of left-sided midfielders, what a surprise.

Obviously I wasn't there today, so cannot comment about the game in general.

But, another win for the Super Saddlers and now just 6 points off the play-offs.

Neither was I. Just think where we would be with a decent manager.

3 points is 3 points but my god what a dire performance that was.

We lacked width and we certainly missed Jorge. I think today proved why Gerrard and Ropes should play together, both defended well. Pead was non existent. Bennett had good and bad moments. Ozzie played well, Fox certainly isnt a central midfielder. D.Taylor=bottler. Merse=lazy. Fryatt and Nicholls did ok.

Like I said a win is a win and ill accept another 24 dire performances if we win 1-0.

6 points from the play-offs, No chance of making them (with our away record) but at least we can have a bit of excitement trying to get there.
