Here's the team...

Walsall: Murphy, Pead, Fox (C), Gerrard, Roper, Osborn, Merson, Fryatt, Bennett, D Taylor, Demontagnac
Subs: Oakes, K Taylor, Nichols, Bradley, Constable

Not too hopeful but who know's..... I'm gonna predict a 1-0 win

4-5-1 then, presumably.

Murphy
Pead Gerrard Roper Bennett
Taylor Osborn Fox Demontagnac
Merson
Fryatt

We all know how good Fryatt is as a lone striker.

Go on Merse, prove us wrong!

Apparently Ishmel was lucky not to have been sent off for retaliation earlier.

Then after he got shrugged off the ball, he swung a kick at their player. Ref blew up, he then pushed Nicky Southall with both hands. Got the red card and had to be restrained by Merson, then apparently pushed Kinsella as Kinsella came to usher him off the pitch.

I'm listening to Forest commentary, they reckon he was like a man possessed.

They can't believe why at 1-0 up after 30 mins any player would behave like that. Throw the book at the lad, if we lose today then he should get slaughtered.

Murphy has made two absolutely blinding saves apparently as well.

And within 3 minutes its 1-1... Ian Breckin header from a corner.

That's the 3rd corner that they've nearly scored off, Murphy made two class saves off the other two.

Not sure how the game is going as WM are not exactly regular with their updates.

However, as we are a man down, I'd be tempted to take off Merson and bring on Kris Taylor - unless Merson's having a blinder -

Forest have the edge, look more likely to score. We're indebted to Murphy for two "world class" saves according to Radio Notts.

We haven't really offered much going forward since the goal, Fryatt finding it a bit hard going on his own up front against Breckin/Morgan.

They think it'll come eventually as we won't be able to defend for 45 minutes.

Unfortunately, that's something that's been brewing for a few games. Pegged back completely this half, but Forest don't look that threatening.

Agreed. He was lucky not to go off in a recent home game (can't remember which one) and was substituted after getting a yellow (red was inevitable otherwise).

Hopefully our noted disciplinarian manager will be having stern words.

brilliant result given the circumstances, we seem to play a lot better with ten men.

Or 9 men if you count (or don't count) Merson.

Good result, even though it sounds like we didn't get a kick. Can't complain though, I expected a total mauling.

I'm happy with a point especially having to play most of the game with 10 men! Expect Ishy to get big fine after apparently having a go at both Merse and the bench on his way to the tunnel! At least its stopped the rot away from home Just!!!

It needed to be, as Hartlepool, Yeovil and Gillingham all won. We slip another place. (Of those above us, Doncaster won away and Oldham drew).

Well done to the lads, especially with 10 men.

Ishmel is a worry, too hot headed.

It looked that he was going to let rip at one of the Yeovil players last week.

Well done 10 man walsall.
To survive/defend 60 mins with 10 men including an unfit Merson is a great effort.
Ishy was stupid but the kid is still so young and is learning the hard way.
I hope he is man enough to apologise to the rest of the team for leaving them in the lurch.
And i hope he gets fined and learns a massive lesson from this.

Good result. I'd have taken a point at 3:00 pm but with 10 men for the lion's share of the game, away from home, it is very good.

Yeah, Forest must really hate us. :)

Just got back.

very pleased with the point, who knows if Ishmel hadnt have been a stupid prat we might have got more, but the defence were Superb, and Murphy who made two world class saves in the first half was also brilliant.

Forest are nothing, they had 4 strikers on at the end but hadnt got a clue how to break us down.

Murphy and the back four were superb today apart from the marking at the corner for their equaliser. Forest never looked like scoring 2nd half even if they did have an extra man, we need to give the defence massive credit for that.
Ishmel needs to sort his attitude out, I was ashamed at his reaction after the red card.
Fryatt is a much better player than Tyson so why is Merson putting a meagre £300,000 price tag on his head? Half a million at least!
Overall a fully deserved point.
