St James is the best ground in the Prem , the place is massive . Been there for 2 England games , prefer it to Old Trafford
If we get threw I'd love a trip to Villa knock them out then get a nice trip to Arsenal :D

Good result and some decent play. Fryatt and Jorge did very well, Roper and Bennett superb defensively. Ossie had a game to forget. Ishmel and D Taylor have pace to burn, but need to develop greater awareness of the options around them (in my opinion). We deserved to win, and we did.
Can't wait for the next round draw. Home please! If it has to be away, a Premiership giant (Man U, Liverpool) would do nicely. I could live without Millwall away, thanks.
Miles, what's the score? Colin Miles what's the score?! :)

Ye we played well for the majority of the game, but for a 20 min spell. Craig Pead, I felt, saved us today on more than one occasion with his goal line clearances. Bennett and Roper had brilliant games, not to mention Jorge. It was a superbly taken goal (I was on about Leitao's btw, not Fryatt's) and I'm just glad we're in the third round. Nobody really had a bad game, although Osborn wasn't at his best, nor was Foxy.
Bring on the 3rd round.

Thanks!!!! I edged my bets, £2.50 on both 2-0 and 2-1 with Fryatt to score first....both 28-1!!!!! :lol:Dave Roe wrote:THE ALE IS ON CHEESEBAG !
70 quid he won today on the first goalscorer/score !
It was funny watching him willing us not to score another late on. He left with a right cheesey grin.
Well done mate.
First time in ages i wanted Fryatt to miss at the end!!!!
I'll get first round on next night out

Enjoy your Chinese too Cheesebag. Great winning bet there mate.
Didn't think we'd win today, totally delighted at the outcome, and I'd love Arsenal away next.
Oh and to the dozen or so Walsall fans that were allowed in the Saddlers Club main room, thanks. Had you not been there I'd have been convinced I'd wandered into a Pacers factory by mistake.

Another match greatly enjoyed.
We were great all across the back four, Roper impressing throughout and Bennett especially in the first half and Pead especially in the second. Gilmartin looked a little nervy at times and seemed reluctant to leave his 6 yard box but so did Ruddy who is rated one of the best in the country for his age. Ultimately he kept a clean sheet which is what it's about.
We controlled the match in the first half and everyone did their jobs excellently. As I said last week I really like Foxy in midfield. Osborn still hasn't recaptured his early season form since his injury but it will return. Ishmel and Taylor caused problems without being on top form but they get back and helo out when needed, especially Ishmel who works his nuts off when he doesn't have the ball. One thing I would say is please lay off Taylor. Ok he bottled out of a few challenges but bear in mind he's just come back after 8/10 months injured so it will be in the back of his mind that it could happen again. Get behind him and he'll start getting stuck in in time.
Fryatt and Leitao went straight at them from the off and were demon like in the first 20 minutes or so and continued in good form all game. Great play between the two all game and Fryatt passed the ball a lot more today and we looked better for it.
I liked the look of Nicholls when he came on. Looked very quick and direct. What a dream start it could have been if he'd took that chance with his first touch.
The atmosphere was great today I thought and it shows how many people have been disgruntled in the last couple of months in that they start singing now we're getting some form back.
I'm still not confident we'll get anything at Oldham or Forest but I hope to be proved wrong.
Oh, and another bet won. Fryatt to score first and 2-0 at 28-1. Thanks very much. [:D]
Nice to see Evo, Daz and his old man, Cheesebag and Saddler Jim at half time. UTS army.

I'll take the win from today and look forward to a big team in the third round but in all honesty we could easily have lost today. We had a good first half but how many shots did we actually muster?
Second half Yeovil controlled the match for long periods and we actually cleared off the line 3 times. Leitao's goal was a stunner and was just what we wanted to give us the cushion at the end.
All in all the scoreline made the match look easier than it was. At the end of the day, however, regardless of how we got it we kept a clean sheet and got through to the third round.
I did feel sorry for Bennett today - in about 10 first half minutes he had a ball in the b*****ks then one in the face.
