Looks like I'll be sitting on my own. Is there a match on Sky tomorrow?

I'm going.

Evening games are a bit of a nightmare for me, but I'm making the effort.

Yeah, we could all sit back and groan "I ain't going, Eastenders is on".

But we could also make the effort to support our club in a cup competition.

When are some of you going to realise that by not going will not prompt Bonser to oust Merson. All it means is that we will financially struggle.

Oh yeah, I forgot, at the next AGM, if we announce a financial loss, what will the subject be.

Who's giving after dinner speaches.

Zippy, stop being a total prat. Six questions, one about "after dinner speeches", one about community links and the rest about finances. None of which were answered.

Being involved in the 'kick it out' anti-racist campaign on the one hand and then inviting someone TWICE to the club who at the very least is unaware of his own racism and portrays himself as some sort of 'victim' on the other is contradictory and hypocritical. The Trust is dead right to bring this up. Please explain to me Zippy why you keep going on about this?

When enough do stop going Zippy it will encourage Bonser to dispense with Merson quicker than you'd imagine.

I see you've also fallen for the club's smokescreen hook line and sinker ? They loved THAT question because it enabled them to bury the ones they didn't like.

They ain't soft.

So, that means the Trust were really clever in asking the question then???

No it means you're really stupid to focus on the issue that's tangential to our future (yet materially so relvant to our present) instead of the others - all valid, all pertinent, all whitewashed.

It's a measure of the development of UTS that two years ago we'd be starting the math thread after the match, and struggle to get 35 posts for a dull game - here we are, 42 and the ball's not been kicked yet!

Because he's fallen hook, line and sinker (in true unthinking robotic fashion) for Roy's line. Why did Roy make such a fuss (and keep making it) about the Atkinson question? Because it defelects attention from the fact he didn't answer the questions on finances that he didn't want to answer. In fact, the Trust probably shouldn't have asked that question about Atkinson (despite the fact it now turns out he's done similar things four or more times) because it's defelecting attention from the finances.

I'm not staying away because of some obsession with getting Merson out. I'm staying away because we're rubbish.

Ref

Steve Tanner - Somerset

Likes to see the colour of his cards, this one, I'm afraid.

In just 15 matches this season he has already produced 60 yellow and 6 red cards!

Actually, looking at his records, he took charge of two of our matches last season.
Both away, first one was at Wrexham - no bookings at all!
Second was away at Brentford where he made just two bookings (Merson and McShane).

Another Walsall game I don't really care about - its getting a worrying trend!
Still, I won't be getting many games in once student finances hit me...so I'll get them in while I can still be bothered.
3 years without watching Walsall regularly - a very appealing thought.

I'm not really bothered about the score - but I'll say a 1-1 draw after extra time, walsall losing on penalties.
