I think this should be addressed to DerbySaddler as he's the one going to clog-land. I'll be in sunny Saigon for the foreseeable. Thanks for the info though, I'll look out for it next time I'm passing through Shiphol! Who knows, I might actually make it out of the airport at some point!

Stu, a football geek ? Never.

Not the man that complains about Football Manager making "Huge mistakes" (like putting 1 less substitute appearance for that Rushden & Diamonds 17 year old striker)

Bennet to score first and 2-0 (got 110/1 on this)
K Taylor to score first and 2-0 (got 45/1 on this)

If it meant that, by losing the game, Merson would be sacked then I'd happily sacrifice my £2 stake on the above bets and be happy with a loss !!

That is not the worst line-up. Should be a winner, really.

YES! Five Live commentary on the net!

We were 2-0 up, missed a sitter, then Kinsella stepped out of the way of Williams' free kick. I gather we slacked off at the end of the half and MT are back in it?

From what i've gathered from the Auntie Beeb website it seems that the red saddlers missed quite a few opportunities to put the game out of MT's reach. But they're back in the match and i feel that 2 goals are needed to kill off the tie.

Kinsella and Taylor need a good bollocking for moving out of the way of the free kick, scared of getting hit by the ball ,bloody hell its basic. Its not called a wall for nothing.

Dunno what to think of that sj!

Good win, which was necessary, and no huge errors from the sound of it. No fuss, no fancy, and a workmanlike performance from Walsall, who by all accounts played like a team. Big credit to Gilmartin.

Poor performance but a win at the end of the day. Inexperience from us showed with no one really looking to get the ball down and play. Gerrard was poor giving the ball away too much, staunton unfit.
Thought Gilmartin coped well with what he had to do and fryatt was lively first half.

A wins a win at the end of the day but thoroughly dissapointed with the way we played.

looked a competent performance by the defence. Hope Gilmartin gets some praise from Merson to make up for the way the goalkeeping issue was dealt with this week.

Merthyr man of the match
interview with 2 merthyr players
interview with merthyr manager
10 minutes of merthyr talk

i know you don't like to see merse interviewed (neither do i) but we were hardly even acknowledged.

i pay my subscription and demand an un-biased service.
