Come on guys there is no way we are gonna lose this one, Slough town gave us a shock and surely we learned a massive lesson then.
Even not Merse can fail to make sure the lads give a more professional performance.
2-0 to us, we've got more than enough quality to beat Merthy even with all the injuries.
Christ, i just re read the post and am having serious doubts already! NO positive thinking, we'll beat them easily. one from matt and one from Jorge, maybe our invisible goalie will give them a goal.
Alright 2-1 to us.
But there is no way we will lose this one, believe me. The lads will put on a solid display.
Roll on friday.
Have we sold all our tickets?

If we have sold them all I'm sure they'll be a few colour photocopies going round if people can't get one officially!

I can't believe how positive I was after Slough. A sense of disbelief matched only by the one I hold that 12 months on Merson is still in charge!

Indeed - that's a whole new phrase. Instead of "stick your money where your mouth is" you could say "stick your cactus where your ar$e is"

Ref = Lee Probert

Anyone remember his handling of the Port Vale match, first game last season?

I think if we lose to a team with hair as bad as this it will be the lowest point in the club's history. I reckon Mrs Eckhardt is the village hairdresser, very "handy".

Ingram looks like he's had his ears lowered.

Looking good for Merson. Lee Probert and only 10 fit players as an excuse already.

Not to mention the game being switched to Friday night, so there's the traffic (late arrival), dodgy floodlights, loss of a day's "rest" for the players to get over exhaustion following the 45 minutes effort at Barnsley. I reckon we'll do well to get away with a 2-1 defeat with bags of effort in the frantic last 3 minutes. Anyway the LDV is "our FA Cup".

Has Roper booked a 'table for one' at the Merthyr Posthouse for his evening meal? Sorry, 'table for two' if Standing's going to be there. Meanwhile, in the public bar... :?

Saigon Saddler - try the bar in the Leidesplein. Next door to the the Bulldog Coffee Shop. Was there a few weeks ago on a Saturday afternoon and they had 4 live Premier matches and Sky Sports News:-) Be careful of the drugs though - I could have sworn I watched Albion beating Arsenal on one of the screens!

Neil, one minor minor error. Slough were the same level as Merthyr, not a level below.

Slough were Rymans Premier, which alongwith Southern Premier (Merthyr's current division) and I think its the Unibond Premier, is a feeder league to Conf North/South.

Or so I think anyway...
