well as someone said if we are playing gerrard attacking midfield what can you expect. Merse will be asking for some fans to bring there kits next week if they play in midfeild. the smith thing does seem fishy to me i reckon he had bust up with merse as we are short of midfielders as it is!

I can't understand why when Standing was injured he didnt bring Jorge on. he could've played Ishmel on the wing and Jorge and Matty up front

This cannot be true. You'll be telling me Bennett played on the left wing the other week. What in God's name are we doing? :x

What on earth are we doing sticking Gerrard in midfield, when we've got Joe Broad also on the bench?

Is Merse saying that Gerrard is a better option than Broad now?

Who knows?! This is absolutely baffling. Who else is on the bench, Stu?

Both Jorge and Joe Broad are on the bench. As has previously been said, I can't believe that Anthony Gerrard is the best option. maybe they're hoping that his football gene's will kick in and he'll start playing like his cousin!

Kris Taylor with our only consolitary effort to note of the first half... sounds like big Joe in goal is keeping it down to 1-0... dear dear

make shift midfield.. best can hope is Jorge to come on with 15 to go for the equaliser, Go Little Pig!!

Is Ossie injured? If yes, the decision not to tell Smith he'd have to wait until after this game is amazing.

It said on WM that Murphy made 3 good stops in the first half to keep the score down.

Jolysaddler has just text me to say its the worst team performance he's seen from us for ages.

Paul Franks has just said we just lack discipline. Tell us something we don't know you prat. Why do you think that is? Because the manager has none and never has done which passes onto the players.
