That'll do. I think we'll win 2-0 also, Percie. Goals from Leitao and 'Goal Machine' Osborn.

I reckon both goals from Jorge. He needs 2 more goals to keep up with Fryatt. ;)

In a fit of peak I gave my ticket away last week--so I'm going to my Spanish class. Given the result yesterday I'm up so 1 -0 to the lads

If the team is showing a new hard determination to them we should be alright. Lets not kidd ourselves though, Brentford will be a very tough team to play against. Brooker looks an excellent signing for them and will need to be shackled.

2-2.

An impressive 3-1 win. Fryatt (2) & Osborn with the goals for us, Sodje with their goal - he needs to be watched (or preferably marked :D ) at set-pieces.

Quite right. To be fair to our defenders, Rob they usually do watch opposition players. We all hope for a little more interaction! :)

Its the kind of game that Merson wins - for Tuesday night see Luton and Hartlepool at home last season, and Forest at home this season.

I fancy a 2-0 win...

Though please, if we don't win, lets not have yet another post-mortem of all things pro and anti Merson...

Is Ossborn part of the new-look midfield? We now have him joining the old regulars:

Osborn Osbourn Osbourne Ossborn

We could also get Osborne in if we play 352, then maybe have Ossborne and Ossbourne on the bench. :?

I wish we had 11 Osborns. And to think the bloke used to get routinely slagged off for being an ex-Dingle? Great player, and someone who despite not having an easy ride from the fans, and despite having to play with various injuries has shown himself to be a model pro and someone who can conduct himself with humility and dignity. Player of the season if he carries on like this.

2-0 (Husbands + Gerrard)
Btw the attendance on Saturday at home was 5177, so against a side with little support, and in a midweek game against Brentford, we can expect no more than 4000.

2 -2 draw, Jorgey & (another) Fryatt penalty.

As long as we don't capitulate again. It's my birthday tomorrow and I don't want it ruined by another Merson masterclass in tactics

Having been proven right on Saturday about the players pulling Merson's nuts out of the fire, I would imagine our stupid inconsistency will see no more than a point.
