Do you think that Stan Tennant would get on with Merson? I would have thought he would be too used to having his own way to want to be second fiddle to an eccentric manager.

Don't want that bloke anywhere near Bescot. Can't forgive him for the time when Kevin Wilson was kicked all over the park at Bury, eventually gave some back and got a straight red card. The first sending off of his career. However when the incident occured Ternant rushed on urging the ref to send him off, and then had the check to put his arm round Wilson as he walked off in tears.

What does he say about us in his book anyway? Though I can probably imagine.

This is who I want as the next Tranmere manager because Brian Little has lost the plot. I feel he is a good manager but he has lost his pashion for our club.

I think you'll find Merse has quite a close relationship with Tennant's.

Paul Merson hasn't done that bad for you lot. you must think how we feel with Brian Little at the helm. He's gone from hero to zero in a couple of months.

While I don't know the ins and outs of Tranmere he had to sell Iain Hume, Paul Hall and Ryan Taylor, arguably your three best players, then its bound to leave you in trouble a bit. Didn't expect you to struggle though.

I'll look smug and say I predicted it in the summer when others were doubting me! Always thought they were going to struggle.
